1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how TVDH Ltd ("Saltus," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our website and application (the "Service"). By using Saltus, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and (if you sign in with Google) basic profile information provided by Google.
2.2 Connected Service Data
When you connect a third-party service to Saltus, we access and store certain data from that service in order to generate your reports:
- GitHub: commits, pull requests, issues, and related repository metadata

Saltus accesses this data on a read-only basis. We do not modify, write to, delete, or take any action on your connected accounts or repositories.
2.3 Generated Content
We store the reports Saltus generates on your behalf, including their content, the reporting period they cover, and the tone (Work or Personal) selected.
2.4 Usage Data
We may collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages visited, features used, and general log/diagnostic data (e.g., IP address, browser type, timestamps), for the purpose of operating, securing, and improving the Service.
2.5 Payment Information
If and when Saltus introduces paid subscription plans, payments will be processed by a third-party payment processor (currently anticipated to be Paystack). Saltus does not directly collect or store your full payment card details; these are handled by our payment processor in accordance with its own privacy and security practices.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Generate and deliver your reports (by email and within the Service)
- Operate, maintain, and improve Saltus
- Authenticate you and secure your account
- Communicate with you about your account, service updates, or support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate Saltus, including providers of hosting, database storage, transactional email delivery, and AI-based text generation. These providers process your information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are not authorized to use it for their own independent purposes.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or safety of Saltus or its users, or investigate potential violations of our Terms of Service.
If Saltus is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the Service to you. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format

8. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own, including countries that may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps intended to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
9. Children's Privacy
